Is LSU packing in this season just like last season?

LSU lost a close game to Alabama, all their season's goals were gone, and they packed it in.

The same thing happened this year, then they come out and play like that against LA Tech. Troy is much better then LA Tech, if we play Troy last night like last season, we lose the game this time. The players need to discipline and need to realize that you can't win the SEC every season. You need to have some heart and finish strong no matter if there's a limit on where you can go at season's end. It's almost disgusting how heartless the past couple of LSU teams have been.

Yep, I hope last night was just a fluke.

They have shown a lot of heart this year. They left it on the field against Bama. There was bound to be somewhat of a letdown for this game with our starting QB out although I didn't think we would struggle nearly as much as we did. I think this team will play hard in the last two games and I really expect them to win both games.

The truth about somebody comes out during adversity. It's easy to have heart and be ready to go when you're winning and 7-1. But after adversity rises up, the team fades away.

I can tell you one thing from observing Chavis up here in Knoxville over the last 5 years: He will not tolerate the defense playing as shitty as they did last night in these last two games. You will see an inspired performance next Saturday against McClusterfrick and the Rebels. I would put a lot of money on that.

my question is if the team collapses again how do the leslie fans justify les allowing the wheels to fall off 2 years in a row?

From what I saw, they missed their field general in JJ. Particularly the seniors and WR's.

The WR's could have had a monster game with JJ in the game. The offense would have been more wide open. This was a big play game if there ever was one. The running game should have completely opened up the passing game.

In saying all that I cant place ALL the blame on Lee even though he looked terrible. The Tech defense was nowhere near stopping the running game yet we are passing while they are in pass defense? Lee hung Tolliver out to dry but Crowton left Lee out to dry by constantly passing when the run game was eating the Tech D up.

If Jefferson would have played and Keiland would have gotten 20-25 touches we would have torched Tech. That didn't happen.

Exactly. Blame the pitiful offense last night, and this whole year, on the OC. J Lee should have never been put in that position.

I fully expect to get destroyed by Ole Miss next saturday b/c Leslie will allow his team to be flat once again. I would not be shocked to lose the next 2 games b/c the team quit on Leslie....AGAIN.

Then you should probably just get the frick out and not even watch anymore.

I despise LSU fans sometimes.

If they play their hearts out & lose, I'll at least accept that the better team won. But, if they come out flat/lifeless, I'll be nearly done with LM.

How in the world (!!!) anyone can't get this team up for our next 2 games is beyond me. Forget using bowls as an incentive. LSU has more reason for revenge against these 2 teams than any others after what happened last season.
