Sen. Hatch of Utah, for one, while he investigates the anti-trust aspects of the BCS.

Plus any other aggrieved party with standing to sue in state or federal court could subpoena records from the SEC in the suit.

I see I am not getting any legal answers.

I'll wait until this dies down, but it is a legal question, and I am not advocating this. I am just curious as to who has authority to investigate the sec.

As long odds as this is, nothing would surprise me. With the amount of money involved, if you don't think devious minds are not plotting, you are naive.

My guess is that it would be a federal crime.

Same person who oversees NCAA guidelines...why ya think most are self-reported? There is no accountability per se.

What legal recourse is there to find out if there are shenanigans going on at the SEC office to set up a 1 v 2 sec championship?

Lert's do a class action on these frickers and say we as fans, are the ones getting fricked. We have paid our money to support our team and we have been damaged.

If we get fans from every SEC school we can move this case to a federal court. I speak from experience when I tell you that if we have to go to court in Jefferson County, where the SEC office is located, we will lose for sure. Our judges broke more laws today than the SEC office has broken since it first started.

I'm in!!!

Alabama law school dean. He made a statement this morning and said everything looked ok as far as he could tell.
