Why the hell isn't anyone calling out Less Miles on the damn punt block call a few plays earlier when we were getting the ball back!!!!! I think that was more important because we never would have had to depend on the fricking refs!!!

Because he is not wrong for having a rush there. You're acting as if we should never try to block a punt. If not then, when? We were going to be pinned inside our 20 after the punt, we had no shot at a return because they were pooch punting (proof is that the ball was fair caught at the 8 yard line). Big special team plays can win a game, and a blocked punt there would have been huge. See Virignia Tech.

You can't play scared.

You take your shots. What makes anyone think our Offense would drive the field from deep in our own territory. If Graff gets to the ball and blocks it, it's all different.
That's just part of the game.
I was more pissed that we went for 2 early in the 3rd. I thought that was a poor decision.

Cause if successful it would flip the field about 50 yards.

I guess you feel we were moving the ball SOOOOOO well on Offense we did not need a special teams play

I'm pretty sure Miles didn't run into the punter.

Graff is money.
That was a gutsy call.
Les was playing for VICTORY.
More power to The Hat.

it was also a crappy call too. Graff barely nicked the guy on the foot and he took a huge dive

Of course a special teams play would have been great, and Miles didn't run into the kicker. Bama was knocking on field goal range as it was. You guys would prefer to cry about a missed call in which we still had a long field to drive rather than at KNOWING we have the ball with a long field to drive. Even if we get the ball on the punt, go 3 and out. We can still kick to hopefully get the ball back again.

Yep....Saban went for the VICTORY too, when we ran into the dumb arse kicker on Miles' great punt block call.

And you would rather blame Miles.

We get it. It's all Miles fault.

Nope, it's not all Miles' fault. But it definitely wasn't the one missed call on the interception. I only make the point that we have the ball back before the interception if we don't go for the block.

It's all Miles' fault. He doesn't tell his players not to run into the kicker in practices.

He doesn't tell the physics professors at LSU to teach his ST players about forward momentum.

The punt block was the right call. Starting QB and RB out. The two previous possessions were 3 and outs. The chance of a long drive was not likely.

Good call. Bad execution.

BLAME LES? Are you freaking serious? He put the guy in the position to make the play he just didn't do it. Graff was unblocked and just miss judged the angle nothing Les could do about it. No way LSU drives 90 yards on BAMA so he took a shot and I applaud him for doing it.

I have been critical of Miles quite a bit but I can't blame Miles for this loss. He had his team ready to play just a few bad calls, a few blown opportunities, and one bad defensive play cost us. Nothing more.

That could have been a no call. I was pissed that Gary D was saying "Oh yeah. He nailed him. That's a deifinte flag."

Maybe because the ones who know nothing about football haven't thought about doing it yet. With three offensive starters out of the game, while losing against a very good defense, you can't be timid and expect to win.

It was actually the right call. If Graff lays out that ball is blocked. Tell me, did you really have confidence in Lee to move the ball 90 yards against Bama's defense??

I hate Gary D. and Verne...They are wrong 90 % of the time and are horrible game callers. I dread watching games on CBS just knowing they will be calling the game. Like when Riley Cooper grabbed the jersey Gary D. said if you can get away with it do it!! Seriously??
