LSU cost themselves 9 offensive snaps last night

3 on a 3rd down Jefferson scramble where he has the first and instead of getting down he gets knocked back behind the sticks. You've got to know where the sticks are.
3 on a 3rd down conversion where we can't line up right. Three receivers to one side and none of them have the sense to line up on the ball. I guess we were going to run the ole tackle eligible.
3 on a 4th down conversion where our lineman couldn't hold his water. This cost 3 plays in Alabama territory.
You just can't give up snaps like that in a big game.

Excellent point. I like Miles, but the team makes a lot of mental errors. This "alignment problem" has been going on for several years. It cost us a touchdown against ARK in 2007 that likely would have won the game.
