Jordan Jefferson's interception was the first. He seemed to lose all of his confidence and never looked good after that play.

The second was the face mask penalty that would of given us the ball in good field position. It didn't result in any points for Florida but the defense would have been able to get off the field and rest.
Thouhgts

I know the Florida TD was big but we were expecting that one.

Did he have confidence before the interception?

I agree

the face mask was huge,,,we were going to see their punter finally

And the 3rd and 2 dive play on the goal line was predictable and awful

I kept screaming at my TV we have to have a TD here

would have made the 2nd half much more entertaining

The best offensive play we had was the wide open Lafell over the middle in the first half....never saw it again

For all the mangled play on offense, we had some momentum-killing penalties on defense and offense that changed the game. Take away the face masking penalty or the back-to-back false starts at the end of the third quarter and I personally believe we would've had a different game.

Damn offsides on the defense hurt some great plays they made.

Good Point. That string of defensive penalties really hurt.

The biggest? definitely the no call on the offensive holding resulting in a TD for the gaytors.

For me, the biggest play was pep's facemask. Would have changed field position. Not that our offense can walk and chew gum.

As for the non-call on the TD. My problem was more with Hawkins. He simply let it happen, then just strolled off the field. You have to at least plead your case, so the ref's don't let it happen again.

3rd and goal from the 1 is huge.

My problem is they come out in the same formation for every 3rd or 4th and one. Hand it off the Scott up the middle. Fans know it! Def Co know that too.

With or without the holding, that was a TD. Hawkins bit on something near the line.

Hawkins bit on it big time. Notice how Eugene was in the game a lot after that.

The biggest plays that stood out to me:

Non-Holding Call
Int leading into HALF...Took at least 3 points off the board
Face mask on 3rd down
ALL the damn Offsides on the first drive which lead to their 3 points!

3rd and goal from the 1. When we sent the "heavy" package in, anyone else feel we had no chance for the touchdown?

the penalties didnt make a difference. they could have given us the ball at the 1 every series and we still would have only scored 3. the o line is terrible along with the playcalling. something has to change immediately, or we can cancel reservations for atlanta and the bcsnc
