Season water just like you do for crawfish, boil about 2-3 hours and soak for 30-60 minutes (great activity to do while watching a football games, by the end of the game they will be perfect

The rule of thumb is 1 cup of salt per 5lbs of peanuts.
Use half salt half cajun seasoning and put some liquid crab boil in the water. Boil for about 2 hours and taste to confirm. When finished let them soak for a couple of hours.

I am a nerd I guess, but I don't like the crab boil seasoning. Boil for 1 hour or so. Add a little salt. Boil for another 30 minutes to 45 minutes or so. Add alot of salt. Let soak for 20 to 30 minutes.

+1, I also add a little ice when done, to help soak up the salt

All of the above are good but if you want them in 10 minutes cook them in a pressure cooker. 10 minutes. Done. And no need to soak. Just don't blow your head off.

Holy crap. I see recipes here for 2 to 4 hours. I had no idea it took that long.
I honestly don't see the pay off for this.

Because they are damn good. However see my post above for an abbreviated cooking time. My wife uses a pressure cooker all the time. Cooks red beans in 12 minutes.

I need one of these. I have seen some crazy recipes, including smoking ribs and pork chops and supposedly some of the best fried chicken ever?

They are good and the new ones are safe. She can cook a pot of red beans in 10-15 minutes and it tastes as good as mine that have cooked for 5 hours. Not kidding. I just like to smell them cooking and I'm big on having big pot/slow cooking on the stove so I can stir and taste and drag a fresh piece of french bread in it all day.
