WHy? because he is black? The guy is a thrower. He is 6'5" with giant, slow moving giraffe legs. Do not try to run with him. Let him hurl it downfield.

Haha. Thanks for telling us that he is not a runner. Not sure where this came from but your spontaneity is admired.

He definitely is terrible running the option.

Are you sure? He seems to run it great. Or, wait... Doesn't the option mean to the quarterback takes it off the LOS and lets the end string the play out until a last second pitch resulting in a loss of four yards?

Does great rolling out of the pocket. Moving inside the pocket, running the option....not so much.

I bring it up because Danielson said about 9 times tat he sees JJ as a thrower and not the runner everyone calls him to be. I ask, who said he was a running QB?

Not slow, but too leggy to be able to cut. Like Aaron Brooks from Saints

He was listed as a pro-style QB in the recruiting sites. He's not dual-threat like RS, who can go the distance anytime, but he is an above average runner. He's certainly more mobile than Jamarcus or Rohan.

He is a passer. The only reason people are calling him a running QB is because he is atually athletic enough to run also. I agree that if he was white people would not be calling him a runnning/duel threat QB.
