LSU Apparel- -the available selection sucks!

Going to Athens this weekend and would love to sport the purple and gold. Unfortunately, the crap that is out there is garbage. A lot of it looks like something that I wore when I was in college attending LSU-USC. I swear you can buy the same foam caps that Cholly Mac used to wear. I wouldn't put it on to change the oil in my car. I am sick to death of the shite that is being purveyed to the loyal purple and gold minions. How long will we continue to have to live with this frustration?

Bud, gas stations on the interstate aren't the best place to shop. Those one size fits all t-shirts and caps on the clotheslines over the candy bars are pretty cheap.

I defy you to find one single hat out there that doesn't have suckass toonces on it, or looks gangsta, or looks like it was designed at a trailer park art show.

That's not to say there's not a ton of crap there...but there are LOTS of nice selections, too.

Excellent post.. couple of suggestions..
1. Stop Shopping at Wal-Mart LSU gear
2. Stop Shopping at Albertsons for LSU gear
If you cant find LSU gear to your taste you have problems.. there is a wide spectrum of stuff available at tons of different kinds of places..some cheap some expensive.

I wouldn't use most of those to cover my dog's pile of crap in the yard, even if I had a dog.
I know that there are some acceptable items out there, you crackers are completely missing the point. Let me help you:
The point is, dumbasses such as yourselves buy this stupid-looking crap and wear it in public. We can't really avoid licensing LSU brands to suppliers who make cheap crap, so we should at least make our brands & images look good rather than the goofy stuff we have now. I would settle for the old tiger head.
