I guess it depends on what the heck dinner is.
I've always considered my meals breafast, lunch, dinner. But some people consider it breakfast, dinner, supper.
For dinner tonight, we are boiling crabs, shrimp, and oranges.

The wife and I had chicken caesar salad for lunch. With sauteed mushrooms and onions. We'll have left over pasta and meatballs for dinner. She's getting ready for the N.O. marathon in Oct.

making (for supper) Donald Link's recipe for chicken and dumplings (in his cookbook, Real Cajun).
i really dislike traditional chicken and dumplings...tasteless, pasty, white gravy and slimy pieces of dough...does nothing for me.
BUT, Link's adaptation--a cajun version, if you will--is pretty darn good.
