I guess this would be a question best answered for those of you that went in 2007. I'm debating whether to purchase ahead of time, or to take my chances around the stadium right before kickoff. Thanks

A well known poster and friend in 07 didn'pt have tickets..and acted like they forgot their press passes....gave names..when lady said didn't see them they did the "we will call our boss right now and blame him for us not givin updates at halftime on you" schitck...she let them in.

more of a story than answer

For the LSU game? I wouldn't take my chances around the stadium. The rejuvenation in that program has made it pretty difficult to get a ticket at gametime for big games. That's how it was last year anyway. I have a bunch of Bama friends and went to some of their big games last year.

I would seriously try to get one early. Remember about 5,000 LSU fans and another 5-10,000 Alabama fans hung around outside the stadium. It'll be a tough ticket and I wouldn't count on that slim chance of face value at kickoff.

went in 2007 without tickets. most common 2 trends were 1) $250 or higher for 1 ticket or 2) i'm not selling to an LSU fan.

i finally waited until about 30 mins before the game and found a younger dude selling 1 for $100 next to him and his 2 women. good times i tell ya. there will be people selling, you just have to be patient.

After they fall to Ole Miss and Tenn there will be plenty of tickets to buy before the game.

A lot depends on how many you need and how much you are willing to spend.

I might can help you out. What's your range?

In 2007, everyone who was with us who didn't have tickets got tickets. No one paid outrageous prices. They were just walking around the stadium area about an hour before the game.

Two of my son's friends were approached by a kid selling programs and he took $20 each to sneak them into the stadium.

If you want to buy a ticket soon, pray Arkansas beats bama this weekend, talk about bandwagoners getting off.
