They are suspended pending the Vikings case, which has been indicated will not be resolved till after the season.

What if they don't make the playoffs and we do? Could a post season resolution for them be a playoff suspension for Grant and Smith?

The state court has indicated that it's unlikely to conduct a trial during the current NFL season, meaning that the two Vikings defensive are to remain eligible to play all season.

I seriously doubt the court takes up the case the day after the Vikings season ends, but if they did I can't believe Goodell would suspend key players during the playoffs after the statements he made today about preserving competition and the integrity of the game.

I would hope so, but he has given us extended leeway with todays statements and might consider us lucky to have had them all season.

There's no way they would be suspended for a playoff game. Not even a 0.5% chance.

The suspension would start next season if it got that late.
