Even though he was in for about 3-4 plays, It looks like he could be a sure first down for those 3rd down plays, mostly 3rd and short. So will we save him for big games or minor ones cause in my opinion, we could have done a lot better with shep running instead of those JJ options

Yes, but for marriage so we can make more comparisons to Tebow.

He's a true freshman learning multiple positions at the same time. You build up his snaps, you don't give him 20+ of them right away.

He's a 5 star recruit along with R. Randle. 5 stars are getting on the field with other teams (good teams). What, just so happens only our 5 star recruits aren't good enough to get on the field and make a differance ? Please, we are gonna stop getting 5 star recruits the more they see this happen.

You know what? I was buying into all of this "saving people" BS but you know what? I feel like if we do something and we do it well then we don't have to save anything.

Shepard is a game changer. Not only is he an athlete, the guy is a leader (he was getting the student section pumped doing the warm ups which is not common to see a freshman do.). He needs to be in the game and he needs to get more in game experience. Miles is more loyal to the upperclassmen than he is to the team IMO.

And Shep and Randle are both on the field for LSU, Randle was on the field for quite a few snaps tonight. Randle is #2 and plays WR, in case you are having trouble seeing him on the field.

no, he's just not ready yet. He's gonna be a good one though.

in his 2 touches, he put the ball on the turf. This likely cost us 7 points.

This isnt high school. You put the ball on the turf, you see the pine.

Under your line of thinking even if we do not get another 5 star we are set for at least 4 years

He had zero snaps last week, and had ~6 this week. He is a true freshman learning multiple positions at once that will gradually get more and more snaps. Anyone that has a problem with this truly is rantarted.

You can't pull a guy as skilled as he is when he makes mistakes like that. The guy was probably nervous as hell, they need to let him get use to playing big time CFB.

I loved the crowd reaction on his first run.

When they do really let him loose, he is going to inject a lot of excitement into tiger fans.

Yes you can and need to. I am not one to cost us a season just to get the guy touches considering the talent of other guys. He can work on the in mop up time if need be.
