I think you reached on the Ravens. It's stupid to waste such an early pick on a defense. The defense playing Detroit/Cleveland will be better. If Carson Palmer pans out, you'll be pretty good.

I felt that way also but I wanted a top tier defense and the Steelers and Titans got picked before me. I figured I better jump on them there...

QB is your only suspect position.

I agree with that assessment but I went into this draft with the mindset that if the first tier QBs are not around in the third round just wait it out and get other high tier positions... What do you think about that strategy?

Not bad. If you have 3 WR starters, and 2 RB starters, I think the only place that is weak would be your flex if you have one, even then Ginn Jr isn't a bad flex.

Your team is kind of thin at RB though unless Ward or Graham goes down (and the other picks up his slack).

That's just nitpicking though. You have a solid team and IMO you got good value for almost all your picks.

Thanks for the assessment I will update the OP but we do not have a flex we start QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, TE, DST, K. Knowing that what is your assessment?

and WRs, all in all I see the playoffs in you future.

eta: Your back up receiver sucks and you better hope no one gets hurt.

So do you guys think I may need to trade to get more quality WRs?

Playoffs IMO. Palmer looks like he'll be back in 2005-07 form. Even if not, Favre with AD in the backfield should be able to have some great games once he gets back into things.

I like your QBs, you waited till later in the draft to get them and waiting got you a much team overall.

I'm trying to understand why 2 TEs went before a QB or WR. SOmetimes that happens but I usually hold out for a while.

It's a solid draft, but I think in a 12 man league there must have been a few rookies involved to make that decision.

It was a typo I believe. V Jackson is WR Vincent Jackson of the Chargers

What are yalls take on Steve Smith? He performed solid last year. Should I expect that this year as well?

Yep. He'll have some games where he'll get 145 yards and 2 TDs and some when Delhomme is inconsistent and he'll still get some big YAC plays.

Correct Vincent Jackson WR for the Chargers... I only drafted one TE.

WHile Farve is hot... Before he plays a game you need to trade him for a good #2 receiver.

Who would you suggest trading Favre for... What is the most likely pick up I could gain?

Don't know about bye weeks but if it works out, drop Ted Ginns and pick up a defense. That way you won't have to worry about dropping the Ravens defense when they hit their bye.

So just stay how I am for now and not worry about trading for now?
