Decent Bakery in Kenner/Metry?

Gang,
I was wanting to greet the Friday work crew with some donuts/baked goods tomorrow morning. I will be coming in I-10 heading East towards downtown.
Can anyone suggest a decent bakery in Kenner or Metairie (close to the interstate would be ideal)I might could stop to get some baked goods for the work gang? I am aware of Krispy Kreme and Tastee... any other local places would be ideal.

I know this might not be your thing, but there's a nice Latin store with a bakery out in Kennah.

There is a Dunkin Doughnuts on Veterans between Clearview and Causeway. They have great coffee also available in those carry boxes.
No doughnuts, but Haydels out on Jefferson Hwy has great baked goods.

being a transplant from cajun country, i use to bring boudin in the mornings. though they enjoyed it, donuts was requested for this round (something about them missing their lunch that day)...
guess i'll give one of the donut joint suggestions a try instead

theres a Duncan Donuts on Vets right near Houma BLVD, across the canal from the Houstons/Corky's/Chilli's. On that same side
