Perhaps, but it is all kind of a crap shoot at this point. I wish him the best. He did want to be at LSU, which is more than I can say for others.

I agree with you Ballyhoo. I really, really liked his video, and thought he was a smarter Cecil Collins. I hope Ware turns out as good as the coaches think he can be.

I liked storm too... but he doesn't have the speed to be likened to cecil collins. Don't misunderstand - I'm not saying he's slow (esp for his size)... just that collins was crazy fast on a football field

and no we won't regret not taking him. There will be plenty of backs yearly we can get that are more talented than storm. That's not a knock on storm, we're just never hurting at RB. He's not an elite talent

You never know how these guys are going to do at the college level. Keiland Williams was supposedly the second coming of Jesus Christ when he signed a few years ago and he has been eclipsed by Charles Scott over the last 3 years. You can get a rough idea of how they will perform but until they step on the field and prove themselves there is not much use in getting worked up over it. These guys will very rarely live up to the fan expectations and when a guy does produce it is usually a guy who has flown under radar to a certain extent like Scott or Hester for that matter.

There are always people here talking like this...If they were so smart they would be a college coach instead of second guessing millionaires on shite they know little about.

If we took every RB rantards wanted we would have to put them blocking on the offensive line and kicking field goals....

Well I trust the coaches, but I'm still going to have my opinion and I think Storm > Ware fwiw

The only hesitation that I had about Ware his him running out of the shotgun.. I am looking forward to seeing him lining up as a RB.

I may be one of the minority, but I was not excited about the Storm commitment.

I did however like CM last year, and thought we should have taken him.

"I'm trying to take it slow and just looking at each team."

"I am trying to speed the process up."

Yeah, I know Scott was highly recruited but he did not get nearly as much attention as Keiland did. I was led to believe by posters on this site as well as some of the recruiting sites that Keiland was a can't miss phenom and that LSU had to have him. He has not lived up to the crazy expectations which were placed on him when he signed with LSU. I did not hear much hype related to Scott coming in and he has been the best player of the two by a long shot. I just take the hype with a huge grain of salt now.

scott was highly recruited, USC wanted him badly.

You just remember KW's recruitment more because of the drama around it. That's how it typically goes

the only reason williams had so much hype was because he waited until signing day. he was every bit as highly recruited as williams.

Yeah, I guess I'm going by the drama on this site at the time. The drama was almost McKnightesque or Randleish in its intensity.
