You gotta love the guy!!! (Coach Mainieri)

I've always been impressed with Coach Mainieri, from when I first looked at his resume when he was announced as the new LSU coach, to watching him quickly turn the program around. However, in addition to his on the field accomplishments and, of course, winning the 2009 CWS Title, I'm even more impressed with him after watching his press conference announcing the Tigers 2009-2010 roster, which also addressed the MLB draft, the players we lost and how moving the MLB deadline for signing players up a month would help the players/colleges.
He handles himself very well and does a great job explaining the realities faced by coaches and players, and how LSU was proactive in being prepared in the event, as happened, that LSU lost some players to the draft. Clearly a great leader and great representative for LSU!!

We should be extremely proud of all our coaches and the way they represent LSU. Ive seen many of them speak at various engagements and i have come away impressed each time.
for those of you that believe Miles is not such a great public speaker, if you ever have the chance to catch a Gridiron Club Lunch or even the Tiger Tour, do so....hes a damn strong speaker.
