Who am I missing in this order ?
Chip Furgeson
Danny McMannus
Peter Tom Willis
Casey Weldon
Brad Johnson
Charlie Ward
Danny Kannell
Chris Weinke
Was Kannell right after Ward ? Was there one before Weinke ? I know I can google but you have to search thru loads of crap and still not get all of them. I know many will know who was left out.

when did Adrian McPherson & Anquan Boldin play at FSU?

Adrian McPherson
Wasn't he on the bench when Weinke was playing ? I'm not an FSU fan, but some friends of mine were talking today about FSU / Miami / UF over the last 20 + years and this came up.

I thought Mcpherson got a season in

I can only find Rix as a sophomore in 2002 and Wyatt Sexton as a freshman. Boldin played a few plays at QB but I don't remember McPherson playing. Talman Gardner was on that team as well.

I remember one FSU bowl game where the qbs were so bad that Anquan Boldin was pressed to play qb.

Haha...there's probably been a couple of those. I remember a Sugar Bowl against Georgia I think he QB'ed in. THen of course there was the 11-2 loss to OU in 2000, but I dont think he was playing then.

Boldin and Outzen never played quarterback until all the rest of them were injured. Outzen had to play the championship game because Weinke had a cracked disk from the from a cheap hit in the Virginia game.
Outzen couldn't throw the ball 20 yards otherwise FSU would have had a title that year.
The 2009 quarterback is not looking bad though.

“That’s what Jimbo Fisher says. He’s the FSU offensive coordinator who during the offseason said Ponder can be as good as any quarterback he has ever coached. That’s what Rodney Hudson says. He’s the right guard who will protect Ponder this fall.
“His command in the huddle — he’s a lot more confident,” Hudson said. “You can just look. You can look in his eyes and tell.”
In a recent interview Fisher say Ponder’s arm is growing stronger, his spirals are tight and the ball is getting where it needs to be very fast.

Noles going deep
"I'm told that the beatdown given by the offense today was similar to the drubbings administered throughout the spring. Christian Ponder looks very good, and that is in no small part because the pass protection is there. A pocket is forming. There were fewer long runs than in the spring, but the passing game more than made up for it. Let's link to Andrew Carter at the Sentinel today, as he had the first practice report up. "
