Sending Tyrus to Utah and Hinrich to Portland. Boozer is exactly the kind of player Chicago needs and would make them very interesting for next year.

it's mainly a value thing. hedo is better than hinrich obviously, but they were going to pay way more than he was worth. and hinrich > blake IMO. i think the blazers need upgrades at the 1 and the 3

even to me, don't see any difference, Blake is a underrated PG.

The Trailblazers have 3 serviceable guys at the 3 with Webster, Batum, and Outlaw. They aren't in a position where they have to be desperate, and giving Hedo the money he wanted would have been a desperate move.

I think they needed a 1 more than a 3, and that Hedo wasn't worth the money they were about to give him. I'd sooner have gone after Ariza or Marvin Williams for less money.

I would love for Boozer to go to my Bulls.

And I'm still hoping they get D Wade next year

Isn't Hinrich making about 10 million a year, while Hedo was requesting something in the 11.5 range? Doesn't seem like a huge difference to me, especially since Hedo is a better player.

However, I have no idea how many years Hinrich has left on his deal.
