Where is the easiest place to park in Omaha for Saturday's game?

In 2000 (last time I was there), the best thing was to take the shuttle offered by the local public transit

OR

if you're in a hotel that offers a shuttle, use that.

I can only imagine what parking is like now. I would rather have gum surgery than try to park around Rosenblatt.

how is the taxi service in Omaha? got a feeling i'm going to be taking them on a regular basis.

They need to just set a shuttle up for LSU fans from Rosenblatt to Barretts

I'm not familiar with the taxis in Omaha.

I like your idea of a BB shuttle.

There is no RV Parking at the stadium
In 2007, the decision was made to permanently close RV parking north of Rosenblatt Stadium to accommodate an expanded Fan Fest area in the southwest parking lot. The extra space will allow more room for entertainment and interactive activities.

We just paid the $20 and parked on someone's lawn. There's a church prolly 1/4 mile from the stadium with lots of parking. They charge $20 a day as well and they have a few people directing you where to park.

There is also a free shuttle from a bar in the Old Market called the Stadium Club (that will supposively have a keg on it).

Someone mentioned the zoo across the street for $10 per person.

Yeah I forgot I mentioned that in my post from last year. They will let you park there and they charge you $10 per person in the car. So if ya drop everyone else off and park there it's $10. Of course that was last year and they may hve caught on to this trick.

I went to the opening round games in '03 (S.C. vs. Stanford & LSU vs. Miami) then elimination game (S.C. vs. LSU). In '04, I attended LSU's opening round game. I was living in Lincoln in those yrs.
I suggest you go park @ the zoo. Go there before 9 AM though since the spots fill up quickly. Your parking fee includes admission to the zoo. The zoo is worth spending a few hrs there.
There are plenty of souvenir vendors near the stadium. They set up along the street across from the left field side.

Last time I was there there were a ton of people charging for you to park in the front/back yard. Parking really wasn't that big of a hassle at all if you decide not to take a cab or shuttle
