I would start Ross in game two. For one, Coleman would be available in a close game and two, if we did lose game two, we would have Coleman vs their number 3 in the deciding game.

What do you think?

If coleman came in the close game after Ross and then we lost......We are fricked.

Not gonna happen.....Coleman is going game 2 win or lose.

I disagree. Coleman vs Rice's number 3 in a deciding game at the Box is a no brainer to me.

Not at this point in the season. If you can take the first two you take the first two. No sense in giving Rice a stronger oppertunity to put the Tigers back against the wall in a game three. Win two, get rest, practice for Omaha. Lets get game one first though.

If we pitch our #3 on Saturday, what makes you think Rice wouldn't counter with their #3. Its an easy decision...pitch Coleman on Saturday, and worry about game 3 if it happens.

so we want to give them a chance to win and momentum by pitching our 3 against their 2???

Jesus dude...Coleman against Rice's #2 will be advantage us. This is playing scared. We are LSU and can't be afraid of playing our best vs their best. That's what the supers are all about.

The most important part here is, we don't even know the order they are throwing their guys, it sounds like Berry in game 1, but who's to say that Ojala or Wall would be tougher for us to face. They have 3 guys all capable of shutting us down, not much separation in their 3 pitchers. Pitch your best 2 the first 2 games, don't give them momentum going into game 3, thats fricking retarded.

The whole reason teams dream of 2 shut down pitchers is to win 3 games series ( or best 2 out of 3) in 2 GAMES!

I say we pitch Ross on Friday, and if he wins...good, we have Ranaudo for Saturday against their #2 and if it goes to the third game we have Coleman against their #3.

This idea is as retarded as the OPs, btw.
