Give me some players to look out for in the Big Ten. I rarely get to see Big Ten football here in BR.

Sprint, I'm sorry about thinking tOSU only choked against the SEC in championhip games

After advancing to its first national championship final match in school history, the No. 3-seed Ohio State men's tennis team fell short to No. 8-seed USC, 4-1, Tuesday at the 2009 NCAA Championships in College Station, Texas, at Texas A&M's George P. Mitchell Tennis Center

Iowa - Darrel Johnson Koulianos (spelling probably off) Will be one of the best receivers in the league. Dude has amazing hands.
Minnesota - The QB/WR tandem of Adam Weber/Eric Decker should be the best combo in the league I think.
Illinois - Juice Williams (QB) and Arrelious Benn (WR) can also make a good case to be the best tandem in the league. Illinois is such a weird team though...they need a major change in the defense to compete.
Northwestern - Corey Wotton will be one of if not the best DE in the league. He's an absolute stud. I believe they'll have Kafka starting at QB who is a good dual threat QB...he started a few games last year due to injury and played well.
Wisconsin - They always have great running backs, and John Clay is an absolute beast. Easily the second best back in the Big10 IMO...he flew under the radar last year due to splitting carries with PJ Hill but he's better than Hill IMO.
Penn St - They get QB Daryl Clark back who had a great year passing last year. Two years ago he put up big numbers running. The offense loses all WRs this year so I expect him to run a bit more. Evan Royster (RB) will be the best in the league IMO. Sean Lee missed all of last year due to injury, but he'll be one of if not the best LB in the league.

We're going to the golf national championship next week too, so that will probably be another championship loss. Oh well...we make more championships than the vast majority of other universities

OSU - Ross Homan is the only returning linebacker and should be great. Our D-line as a whole will be good, but probably led by Thadius Gibson (DE). Safety Kurt Coleman is very good. On offense, Devier Posey will be the next great OSU wide out I think...he has the frame, athleticism, and hands to be amazing. Lamaar Thomas will be another WR/returner to watch for. At running back Dan Herron (who started in place of beanie last year) and Brandon Saine will split carries. Justin Boren is a Michigan transfer who has come to his senses and relocated to Columbus and from everything I have heard he is an absolute beast...he'll be a great anchor on the line.

Didn't Juice have a bad year last year?

I've heard of Sean Lee. He is suppossed to be the next great PSU LB. Any of these guys got 1st round NFL potential?

I'm not good at evaluating first rounders

I would say Lee is first rounder.

A lot of solid 2nd/3rd round guys IMO though.

I made a good chunk of change betting Big Ten games last year. I was told to always take the home team if the spread is less than ten.

so this is the year Ferentz actually earns his money?

Usually, one pre-season top 25 team from the big ten will fail miserably (wis, ill, MSU, mich, etc.) and one will be surprise (NW or PSU). that's my $.02

At running back Dan Herron

I really like him for some reason. I feel he's going to do good things.

... I just hope I'm right.

Saine isn't playing like a giant pussy from what I've heard, so he might actually be "the guy". I never realized that Herron is by far the smaller of the two, but I really like Herron too.
