in lake charles chose not to renew basketball coach butch siglers contract, anyone know why? this was his second stint at the school and they have always had good records, granted usually don't go very deep in the play-offs.
i was shocked when i read in the paper he had been let go, anyone know any details?

based on knowing nothing about their sports programs, i'm guessing it's a money thing

pretty sure that's not it. high school coaches sign contracts in the spring each year and they just said his wasn't renewed.
the contracts are just a formality (sp?) there are no negotiations or anything like that

he brought in a lot of kids that were outside the feeder school system ifyouknowwhatimean

sure butch is one of the best recruiters in louisiana, but he's been doing it for YEARS.
