The difference between being the number 3 pick over-all and being at best a 7th rounder appers to be attitude. RJF is only 1.5 inches shorter and 1 lb lighter and can also play that 3-4 end position that proved to be key to tyson's draft success. I feel bad for Ricky, but this should be a lesson for kids who want to go to the NFL.

1) that's still a pretty big difference

2) I think the real difference is probably more than that, though

Tyson 6'4" and 1/8, RJF 6'2" and 5/8

Plus I dont have anything to back this up but isn't RJF's wing span something enourmous? I know he has some paws on him from the field goal block in the OSU game.

RJF isn't as good of a player as TJ, it isnt just his attitude. RJF got gassed up on this site and never did shite except for 1 game.

It's more than measureables, but it's more than just attitude, too. Tyson started at a top 5 program for 3 years and played all 4. Did RFJ even appear in 15 games total his entire career? His production was almost zero. At least Tyson had a couple of good years(and one really good one).

Tyson was also a 3 year starter compared to RJF who was supposed to have his breakout year this year but got injured and underperformed.

He was very talented, he cheated at school and cost himself a year of eligibility. Probably affected his draft status. Attitude.

RJF ran a 5.2
TJ ran a 4.9

TJ is a really good athlete for his size. RJF isn't

its a fricking fact

He was very talented

No, he's not. Very talented guys get picked in the NFL draft and not in the 7th round.

That as well as things like playing this entire past year and not doing much. He could have had zero attitude/academic problems and he still wasn't getting drafted anywhere near Tyson.

what if the chiefs pick up RJF with the last pick! An entire LSU D-line for their 3-4 defense. Talk about chemistry. (sarcasm)

Tyson Jackson = $50-60 million multi year contract
RJF = very lucky if he gets a $400000 one year deal

that's the difference
