After Peterson, Hawkins and Eugene, who do you figure to be the 4, 5, and 6 slot corner?

McCray? Hatcher? Taylor?

Hatcher and Mccray are safetys...the other corners would be Taylor and probably Ryan ST.Julien

Did you misspell "Stromile" on purpose?

Good Job calling me out on that one. When I first did it, I definitely mispelled. Sorry if Germans.

Too late to change it now

Yeah I'm just waiting for this draft to kickoff.

Who do you see redshirting this season?

Personally, I think we should redshirt Minter, Calhoun, Davenport, and Montgomery. It may be hard to keep those guys off the field though.

Whoops, I thought they wouldn't let you upload an image if it was too big. That would suck having to read my posts and trying to find the words under Malcolm.

I think a lot depends on needs and injuries. Hard to tell right now. I think Montgomery may need to put on some weight and Davenport may not even qualify.

MSG, are you an SU baseball fan?

If so, why hasn't Roger gotten the support from the state and the university to upgrade his facilities. If he was coaching at a bigger school, he would be mentioned among the top coaches in NCAA. Why no love for Coach Cador?

Why is no-one mentioning Ron Brooks?

This is my guess on the two-deep for the LSU secondary

CB1: Patrick Peterson (Jai Eugene)
CB2: Chris Hawkins (Brandon Taylor)
FS: Chad Jones (Danny McCray)
SS: Ron Brooks (Karnell Hatcher)

Derrick Bryant and Ryan St. Julien are probably third-string for now.

I am guessing/hoping that in nickel and dime packages, we will see Eugene and Taylor rather than McCray. Brooks could also be a possibility, with Hatcher or McCray moving into the safety position.

Do you foresee Chad Jones playing up at the line of scrimmage? I know that FS's usually play back, but Jones is so athletic, it may be a good idea to put him in the box.

Some of the guys who watched the scrimmages and Spring game said that both Jones and the SS played more hybrid roles. I haven't seen anything from the team this Spring, so I have no idea, but it makes sense to give the safeties overlapping roles, especially if Brooks is undersized for the strong safety position.

I just hope this is finally the year that C. Jones puts it all together and outshadows Mays and Rolle. Those two are pretty damn good though.

Well, even if he doesn't have a great year, he will have a bigger impact than Rolle, who will be studying medicine in England

However, I definitely agree with you. He was such a highly rated prospect, and while he has had some great moments, he hasn't truly lived up to expectations. I think he'll do much better this year since the secondary is much more experienced, and Ron Cooper is a better coach than Doug Mallory.
