Wasn't that an OT win?

Yes. CST is also airing 1985 LSU vs Kentucky on 5/19.

Did we take down the North Goalpost that game or was it Alabama? (We did it twice that year, but I don't remember who besides Tennessee)

That's the closest Miss St's came since. It's been brutal arse beatings from that game onward.

I recall I missed that game due to a formal function, but all my friends were there and said there was WAY too much security to rush the field and take down the goalposts...

I was just glad I didn't miss a chance to get down to the field...
We DID however take down the posts against Bama in the season finale...

Don't remember the eye being slightly to the left of midfield.

You must have also forgot that he was 1st team All-SEC that year too.
He played pretty well after Rohan got injured at Florida.

Just started watching it, that was a hell of a game, Toefield was a beast. Saban looks so much younger as well. Josh Corbello

Wayne Madkin, haven't heard that name in a while either. Crazy to think MSU was a contender in those days.

Saban had a helluva lot of talent on that team. Too bad he refused to play Davie. Dinardo definitely left Saban the foundation to be good.
