I love watching these old LSU classic games on CST! As long as they continue to show the games when LSU wins! Yall are right about the Eye being off. They put the eye on the 47 1/2 yard line instead of right on the 50!

Yeah, I think that loss to LSU kinda took the wind out of their sail and started the down hill slide for both Sherrill and Joe Lee Dunn's celebrated defense. I remember all my Bulldog friends in my neck of the woods being pretty depressed for quite a few days after that one. Of course, my constant harassment and reminders of how much they sucked when it came to playing us had nothing to do with it!!!

Yeah they haven't been the same since then. If i remember they had already beaten Auburn and Florida that season.
