I don't know about the "Shine" factor, but they definitely should go back to the traditional purple and white stripes on the pants. The pant stripes should mirror the stripes on the helmets, instead of that purple-white-yellow orange hybrid thing that's evolved over the last five years or so. Looks like shite IMO.......

I think the pants changed in 2005, along with less see throughy jerseys. The shoulder stripes were shortened after 2002 if I remember correctly.
