Friday Harbor, WA. Little community on San Juan Island right at the Canadian border. Dude had an LSU license plate holder.

Vancouver. New Years Eve 1994. Sitting in a hole in wall bar w/ my LSU hat on and out of nowwhere hear a Geaux Tigers. I look around and there's a guy with a Chimes shirt on who was visiting relatives.

Managua, Nicaragua. Was walking down the street wearing an purple and gold shirt, car in the street comes to a dead stop and starts giving me a geaux tigers. People started honking and he drove on.

DAR ES Salaam, Tanzania this past summer. Three times I saw LSU shirts! Twice it was just locals who had the shirt and didn't know anything about LSU, but once it was a graduate of LSU. Small world.

A department store in Perm, Russia around 1993, had an entire rack of LSU starter jackets, I suppose Hallman knocked the bottom out of the market and the Korean manufacturer dumped them in Russia.

This was not a sighting but a bad experience. I was walking next to Fenway Park when a worker there says, "LSU? Can you keep your athletes out of jail down there?" Which really did not make any sense. So I replied with, "Stadium entrance greeter, couldn't set higher goals?" Which I then had a bunch of Red Sox fans on my side with the comeback. I was wearing a Red Sox hat and LSU jacket.
