Actually, it would probably be a good game. Same type of offenses

The last two years would have been great games. Both schools had very good teams in both 07 and 08. Parkview might have been better than Curtis in 07 and the game would have been even in 08.

Parkview's offensive line in 07 was outrageously good at all positions, they had a senior QB, the Legendre kid who signed with Northwestern St at Fullback and the Dileo kid who was MVP of the St Championship game as a Soph in 07 at wingback.

Both great High School teams, extremly well coached, and play their asses off. Curtis may be a little more athletic, but I would take Parkview head to head, but they would be great games btw two great programs.

I asked about him earlier this year. I always figured he would end up at a place like Southern Miss or Tulane, and that seemed to be the general opinion on here as well. I am a little surprised that he got an offer from Michigan, but he is clearly a good player.

Why worry about JC, they could not even beat Redemptorist this year. They got beat at home, GREAT GAME and then the same in the playoffs.

You are correct in that Parkview did lose to Redemptorist twice last year, the only two games they have lost since 06. Parkview beat Redemptorist twice in 07 in two of the best High School games I have ever seen.

The two 08 games were great as well, Redemptorist was more athletic and had more speed than Parkview last year, which is why I think the Parkview/Curtis matchup last year would have been fantastic. Redemptorist is a great program as well, very evenly matched with Parkview.

Is he projected as a slot receiver? Maybe switching over to defense? It doesn't look like he has the frame for anything else.

Yeah, I remember reading that he was more like 5-6 or 5-7 as a junior.

Maybe he had a growth spurt?

Do you think he'll line up in the slot at the next level?

dont laugh...i know about a kid who grew 2.5 inches and gained about 30lbs in a year and a half..and now is at LSU??? Next level? i have no clue? i just dont think his "actual" measurables are that good...great athlete but not as big and fast as rivals has posted...go figure!

Drew is probably legit 5'8" and 165. I agree he prob runs the 40 in 4.65-4.7, but the kid is pure football player. He is a true gamer, makes people miss, has great vision and football awareness and football speed.

If he were 5'10" or 11" everybody in the country would be recruiting him as an athlete or DB. He has grown some since his soph year, but he is still a might short.

His size will limit him to offenses like Michigans, gimmicky offenses who need players just like him. I have my doubts whether Michigan will actually sign him, but that is a great offer for a great kid.

Know the kid very well and he is probably in the 5'9"-5'10" range at about 170-175. Very good athlete. Has very good field vision and is slippery in space. Certainly would make a great slot/Ath. at alot of schools.

agree that his vision is awesome! but i dont think he is 5'10" unless he has grown about 2 inches since football season.

I think 5'10" is accurate.

FWIW, Parkview has never been "better" than Curtis.

I hope you're not crazy enough to put money on that.
