Losing last night will only humble us

I think its good to lose one before going into tournament action. Will make the team understand how much harder they will have to play and how much they will have to focus. You never want to ride a long winning streak going into the NCAA tourney. I would rather see them lose one before the big dance starts than lose their opening round game.

I am hoping it just tempers expectations. People yesterday were saying that no one could beat us and that we could win it all, just because we have destroyed the SEC (weakest of major conferences).

This season has been a MAJOR success. Getting to the tourney is fantastic, and every player deserves it. I would like to win a couple of games there, but don't expect any elite 8 appearances.

I keep thinking to the 2001 FB season. a couple of early season heartbreakers, then a gut-wrenching loss to an inferior Ole Miss that never should have happened. We followed that with a nice win streak including a beautiful sugar bowl win vs. Illinois.
