With so much succes this year< i'm anxious to see who Trent gets, but it seems no big men are chomping at the bit to play for him as of yet. I recently heard taht Cousins and kid from Cali (forget) scratched us off their lists. Any word on D. Riley and if we have a legitimate shot? What about any big men in JUCO who can come in and save this team from a debacle next year?

Right now it's looking like we won't be getting a center prospect we want. But Trent has only had a few months to recruit. I figure next year and the years following that with watching his style and our success recruiting will catch on.

Until we start winning consistently, pack the pmac consistently, and finish the new basketball practice facility we will not land the 5* and 4* guys consistently. Those guys go to KU, Duke, UNC, UCLA, etc. We might land one here and there, but it won't happen until the things mentioned above start to happen.

2010 will be very important. Right now, he just didn't have enough time to get anything done for 2009 and we're late on guys that have been recruited by other teams for much longer.

Honestly, most of our big recruits the past few years have come from within an hour of campus so they would have come here no matter what. It will be interesting to see if we can get to the point of recruiting well- outside of the BR area.
