Yahoo Analyst

One thing that jumps out at me is Tennessee getting a higher bid than LSU at a 10 seed.

RPI....they keep winning, they might move up to a 6 or 7 seed, but no higher imo.

Yeah, they talk about their OOC strength of schedule. But they didn't fair all that well. Got hammered by both Gonzaga and Memphis. They beat a decent Marquette and an over rated Georgetown.

So I guess it is better to play strong opponents OOC and lose then not play them at all?

ETA: They also got hammered by an unranked Kansas

It just kind of surprised me. The RPI may be the reason but it doesn't mean the RPI is right. Tennessee just lost to freaking Auburn and only managed a two point win over Arkansas!

There is no way they are better or deserve to be ranked higher in any poll (including RPI). It isn't a coincidence that the human polls favor us.

Florida - 7 seed

I wonder if this guy included last night's game.

I still have no idea on Earth how they got a 2 seed in 2006. Florida was a 3 and won the SEC tourney, LSU was a 4 and won the regular season title. I know a lot of ingredients go into the seeding pot,but gracious sakes, that one took the cake.
