Warren Morris homerun?
Halloween Run?
Anthony Wilson shot against Kentucky, '86?
Bluegrass miracle?
I'm going w/ the WM HR.

how could it be anything other then the galloping ghost on halloween???? we were 1 they were 2 (vise versa??) and win the game on a kickoff return at the end.
Oh and he ended up winning the only heisman in lsu history.
2.
morris homerun was truly freakish. That would be number 1 simply becuase of the odds 2 outs bottom of the ninth!!! but this is a football state sorry.

1. Warren Morris homerun
Because it was for a National Championship.
After that Billy Cannon's run.

Actually Cannon's run was in 1959 the year after we won the Championship. We were rated No 1 at the time but then lost to Tenn and Ole Miss in a Sugar Bowl rematch!!

It seems we are all forgetting the catch by Skyler Green against UGA in 2003.
I think that play is right up there with Morris HR in the bottom of the 9th and Billy's run against Ole Miss.
When comparing baseball to football, I can't see a play in football that is as big in baseball terms as the Warren Morris homerun. We were one out away from losing the NC and with one swing we won the NC. Also, you have to remember the pitcher he was going against. He was one of the best closers in college baseball at the time, and Morris had not hit a homerun all season until that swing.
