I know other's have already posted today's ESPN USA/TODAY Coaches Poll, i just wanted to do a post with both of them together.

LINK

Very surprising...No votes in AP poll this week, but yet we were as high as Number 33 in their preseason rankings and stayed around that same number, all the way until week 5...Their past 3 polls have not given us 1 single vote! NO RESPECT!!!

10 votes in ESPN USA/TODAY Coaches Poll, our highest ranking with this poll so far this year.

Something to ponder:

Our last time receiving any votes in the AP poll was week 5.
Our first time receiving any votes in the ESPN USA/TODAY Coaches Poll was week 5.
Very strange indeed!

UL sucks balls and proved the LSU record is misleading. A win tonight would re-gain credability.

While this all maybe true, I don't think teams are penalized in the basketball rankings based on final scores.

North Carolina may disagree with you. Look for Pitt to be #1.

Our RPI is one of the lowest possible. We have an inflated record because we have mostly beaten horrible teams. There is no way we should be ranked yet.

Tenn has 9 wins which is tied for the least # of wins in the sec and the only sec team ranked.

Of course not! We don't play Utah until tomorrow night on the 6th at 8:00 pm CST, in Utah.

im not really surprised we're not ranked. a tad surprised at how we completely fell out of the "others receiving votes" section though.

it really doesnt matter where we are ranked right now. if we play well in sec play, that'll all take care of itself.

if i was coach johnson, i would play the disrespect card for as long as possible.

i think we will know alot more about this team after tomorrow.

LSU better at least win the west if they want a remote shot of making the dance. With the sec being down and LSU losing to A&M, they have very little room for error.
