Since 2002:

Vincent Young - Texas
Marcus Vick - Virginia Tech
James Banks - Tennessee
Xavier Lee - Florida State
Matthew Tuiasosopo - Washington
Ryan Perrilloux - LSU
Tim Tebow - Florida
Tyrod Taylor - Virginia Tech
Cameron Newton - Florida
Terrelle Pryor - Ohio State
Russell Shepard - LSU

(The list of 5* Pro-Style QBs is pretty bare in comparison.)

I'd say, in terms of talent, that's a pretty accurately rated 5 star list, wouldn't ya'll agree? Lee is the main question I have........not sure exactly how much Jeff Bowden and the Florida State Dark Ages effected him.

you did leave a pretty big name off the list. he's the only qb to win 4 bowl games as a starter-Pat White

people forget what sort of intangibles it takes to be a successful QB

of this talented cast above, many on that list failed because they could not develop mentally

Shepard reminds me of Tebow in terms of his work ethic, leadership, competitive will, intelligence, awareness on the field, etc... not many of that list of 5-stars above have/had all of those intangibles

No, he didn't. He made a list of 5* QBs. Not 3* athletes.

How is Newton a bust? He's only a sophomore and he's behind Tebow. Is he off the team or something?

only three on that list were a bust imo. Newton and shepard have yet to prove themselves though. Bodes well for shepard imo.

I may be mis-remembering, but didn't we offer Pat White, he accept, and then he decommitted?
