The SEC is extremely weak this year. It's possible with the RPI of the overall conference, the SEC may only get 3 or 4 teams into the tourney. That doesn't leave a whole lot of room for error when it comes to LSU making it. Even finishing 2nd in the west may not be good enough. LSU has to win the west to get into the big dance, and I don't know if this team can be good enough night in and night out to do that.

That was the point I was making about the A&M game. LSU really needed that win. They don't have too many more games against quality teams to show that they belong in the tourney.

you are always so negative, so this isn't surprising....but really, lets think about this, if LSU wins the west, they will make the tourney. Now, the more important question is who is capable of winning the west not named LSU. Arkansas? That might be it.

Maybe four SEC teams make the big dance. UT, Florida and maybe two out of: UK, Vandy, and the team who wins the West, providing they have at least 9 SEC wins.
