After finals Im going to get out there for a few games and show them that I support the Brady firing. Everyone is saying we look good though so I'm excited.

Why not just enjoy the good start of a senior laden team which is finally healthy instead of making disparaging comments about a coach who took teams to the Final Four and Sweet 16 along with winning two SEC championships and 3 SEC West titles within a seven year span. He also had to deal with an NCAA investigation and draconian sanctions.

And don't forget the towel bitin and fingernail chewin. Also, LSU doesn't have to pay a kid to come over there and sweep the loose hair that he pulls out of his head after every game.

I agree. The Brady era is over, so just enjoy what we have now and will hopefully have in the future. No reason to keep dragging the guy through mud. He's gone, so let's have some class and just move on.

He took it over and actually did more at the beginning than he did later on. The final four Team pretty much took care of itself since most of them had played together most of their life. I also remember him doing absolutely no Coaching and pretty much sitting on his hands when Wisconsin stomped us all over the floor. Thing is I was no Dale Brown fan but Brady made me appreciate Dale a lot more after watching him. That being said I believe Trent will exceed both of their programs if given time.

Take a look up in the rafters and you'll feel better about him. Also, just hope you see something similar up there in the future.

Not really. He was able to cobble together enough talent to make a Sweet 16 run, then the effects of draconian sanctions impacted the program until 2003. The early entry of Stromile Swift to the NBA was devestating. Then wehen the effects of sanctions wore off there were two successful seasons in 2005 and 2006. 2004 could have been really good as they were peaking when Lloreda was injured.

You equate results with a perceived lack of coaching. Trust me, he was coaching. Wisconsin was an experienced physical team and LSU was young and a more finesse team. The officials allowed physical play and that was to Wisconsin's benefit.

Each accomplished much relative to the situation they inherited. I truly hope Trent exceeds them and becomes the most successful coach in LSU history.

I wish Trent the best, but nobody will ever exceed what Daddy Dale did, no matter how many games or titles they win. It was the Daddy Dale Experience.

When the purple and gold are on the court or the field I support the team and whoever wears the coaching title and wish them all the success possible.
