we are better than every team in the Big 12 in total defense. 
Just saying.
I was on ncaa.org and noticed that we are #37 and Texas is the TOP defensive Big 12 team at #50. OU is next at #66. Those teams just have better offenses and play in a conference where defense is not at a premium.

I doubt MSU and Auburn padded our stats.
