espn360? or does that nor work because you're in state? I thought spiritually Shreveport wanted to be a Dallas suburb anyway

i would try what's on tap on shreveport-barksdale, or the buffalo wild wings at the Louisiana Boardwalk.

What about the Phillin' Station or whatever they call it now? They used to use the side room for the big games...at least I thought they did.

JeauxBleaux, or whatever your name is, shut up please. You obviously haven't been to Shreveport in awhile. There are probably more LSU fans per capita here than any other city, with the exception of Baton Rouge.

I am so tired of this sentiment continually being espoused on this board. Shreveport is not "spiritually" connected to Dallas or any other part of Texas. We are proud Louisianaians and die hard Tiger fans.

And, I couldn't tell you where to watch LSU games in Shreveport, because I am always in Tiger Stadium, like thousands of other Shreveporters.

aparke7,

if what he said is true, you are welcome to drive out to Sherlocks at Park Lane & Central and join the Dallas Alumni chapter watching it!

not true....Shreveport is die-hard LSU, and has one of the better Alumni Associations of all cities.

I live in shreveport and while I personally do not like the city to raise kids in and live, there is no doubt whatsoever who Shreveporters support. You will see more LSU flags in this city than any other in the state, bar none. There are more people wearing LSU garb than anywhere Ive been here in LA, and the person who said the alumni chapter is strong is right on the money. Top-notch parties and lots of support.
Dont believe me, get on I-49 on a game-day saturday and watch the steady parade of die hard Shreveporters pouring into BR!

wow. didn't realize. I haven't even been to the port in 3.5 years.

Oh and to the other comments...from a neutral perspective (I lived in BR for 10 years, then Shreveport for 4 years) it's a lot better than southern louisianians give it credit for. It's a lot more scenic, the casinos are actually good, lots of boating and recreation, and bars downtown stay open 'til 6 AM (at least they used to), and there are some great local restaurants (although not as many as BR), plus the first Superior Grill which is bad arse. Plus, plus...lots of Tigah Fans.
