Left4Dead Demo on Steam

If you've got a steam account, I recommend going and downloading the Left4Dead demo right this instant. It's a Zombie Survival FPS built off of the Half Life 2 Engine, and it's one of the most fun gaming experiences I've had in a while. It has single player and Co-op mode available in the demo (though only 2 maps).
The first time you jump out of your seat because a hunter jumped on you from the top of a building, you'll be hooked.

Playing this on PC right now, and I agree. It's much different from any other survival horror game I've played. If you've ever seen the movie 28 days later, it's pretty similar to that.
You play as 1 of 4 survivors, trying to make it from safe room to safe room on each map while hordes of zombies, and special types of zombies like the hunter and smoker come after you.
Probably the coolest thing about the game is the "AI director". It's a system that creates random spawns of zombies, and hordes to attack you, so each time you play it's a different experience. Definately give this one a shot! I can't tell you how many times I've jumped playing this, and laughed about certain things, just a great original game.
Wanna be walking through a room and have a horde of 20 infected bust the door down behind you and rush at you full speed while you mow them down with a shotgun? Yea I thought so.
Also you can check out the demo on 360 right now if youre not a PC gamer.

Played through the demo tonight on PC. Not feeling it. It was feeling repetitive before I even finished one run through the demo. What's over here... A dark place with zombies.... What's around this corner... oh look another dark place with zombies. I'm passing on this one.

What difficulty did you play on?

Started on normal the first play through. Bumped it up a couple of notches then. It does get very intense, just feels repetitive to me.
