I'm wondering...

Why is everyone freaking out about Hicks and Claiborne? I know a very reliable source that mentioned both of these names 3 months ago as possible Tigers. In fact, "Claiborne is very very good," the quote he used. I dont want to get anyone's hopes up because this is pure speculation, but another name he mentioned and a "MUST GET" was Jarvis Jones. He has been right so far and I trust what he say. I know this is my first post, but I'm not blowing smoke. This board is so quick to just on the "star power". Let the coaching staff work.
Another thing that bugs me......
Why all the talk about getting rid of Les and the DC's. If I'm not mistaken, Saban only had two seasons with 3 or less loses and he seems to be the standard set. LM on paper has done his job.

Claiborne will be a high 3 star or 4 star when he is evaluated.
Hicks is a 4 star on both sites and has an immediate impact potential.
As for the DC's. They aren't great. In my case it's not about the record, it's about their coaching. Plays aren't getting to the field on time and their play calling is poor. Also their scheme for a spread is useless.
I hope they get better but I'm not counting on it. You can see frustration in our players with the defense at times. It's no secret that they are not up to par.

God I hope so. We need LB's.

That is the rant and Lee Chatelain's doucheness.

I agree with the principle of one DC. I just dont think its necessary to call for their heads in the middle of the seasons. Changes will come after this season is over.

I agree. But I will say this; I haven't seen many defensive schemes that have neutralized the spread when there is equal or better talent on offense.

I agree with this. Nothing ever good comes of it.

Can you be so sure?
