I always felt it was best to start on defense at home...it keeps the croud into it.

Take it so if LSU can put points on the board we can see if LSU can keep Bama trailing for the longest time this season. I have a feeling the only victory on Sat. will be of the moral kind.

Take it.
We need to score first.

Defer. More conservative, but necessary if we're behind and to our advantage if we're ahead.

The correct answer is defer to the second half.

With our purple and gold glasses on you would love to take the ball, go down the field and put points on the board.
But the smart play is to defer.

I agree. Hell, even if Bama wins and defers, I might still kick it off.

If you do that then Bama can get the ball to start both halves.. not a good call

I realize that. That's how important I think Lee not pick6ing us down by 7 to start the game is. And despite our defensive woes, Alabama's offense does not scare me.

Better to be down by 7 after 30 seconds than down by 7 with 3 minutes left in the first quarter with the crowd completely out of it. Just sayin

100% defer. It's the better decision anyway at home in big games, but given the fact the we have a freshman quarterback that's more prone to early game jitters this is a no brainer.

I've gone back and forth with this but DEFER is the best play in this situation IMO.

Defer...look what happened in the GA game when we had the ball 1st. Took the crowd out of it.

You think the crowd would be out of it down seven in the third?
CLUELESS.
