we operate without leadership on either side of the ball! No player has stepped up and took control of this team and last night I fully realized this. You don't see guys really pepping one another up or getting on them when they screw something up. No one picks up the team by example either. Right now Scott is the closest thing we have to that leader but our lineman lack the desire to step up and be that leader of their fellow players. Alabama will come in and hit us from every position and unless we hit harder and right back in the mouth and gut they will control the tempo of the game. I hope someone steps up for us and we can show the nation what we are made of.

Ummmm yes, happens all the time. Teams win the NC, the following year they are not as good because things such as leadership has to be re-established.

We may not have a leader right now, but I see two guys starting to develop into leaders in Alem and Black. Did anyone else notice Black over helping JLee after his pick 6? And he was the only one trying to prevent the guy from scoring.

It's been evident from the beginning of the season...no leadership on the field...I'm sure that several have tried...but it's a chemistry thing...this year's team just doesn't have it...several guys have regresed...that's why I think that this recruiting class is so important... appears to have some true leaders coming aboard for the future.

We were talking about this last night-Dorsey, Hester, Flynn, Seltz, Highsmith...all leaders, both in words and by example. No one appears to have that personality this year. Beckwith or TJ were the logical choices, but they don't seem to be that type....

You don't miss the water 'till the well runs dry...we definitely miss Dorsey, Steltz, and Highsmith big time...
