Good News on Janzen Jackson.

I was told that he decommitted from LSU and was wearing Red at Barbe the last few weeks, but...
on his visit last week Les pulled him aside and brought him into the center of Tiger Stadium with his name on the jumbotron and basically told him he would could start at Nickel next year. This week he has been wearing LSU gear and from what I was told he is really pumped about LSU again.
Of course I will get drilled for even suggesting that he wavered on his committment but the guy that told me is a pretty big LSU fan and with the Barbe team every day.
Anyway, Les is doing a great job recruiting and will have another great class.

After seeing him play for three years i think he could very well end up being a great defensive player at LSU who would also make one hell of a slot receiver. How soon or when is anyones guess but i wouldn't be shocked if he played some his freshman year.

unless you have some other information from either a player or a coach on Barbe then please don't post about things you don't know.
Like I said, I was not at the LSU stadium, but this comes from someone who is with the team everyday.

None of that changes the fact that you just accused Miles of committing a recruiting violation. Why wouldn't Alabama report LSU for doing so?

Just making the accusation could be beneficial. It would at least get the NCAA snooping around.

It's okay. They just mailed him a picture of his name on the jumbotron. They also sent him a congrats card that plays "Eye of the Tiger" when you open it. Not the same effect as walking him out on the fifty, but damnit he got goosebumps. I think he plans on sending Miles a picture of him signing his LOI to thank him.
