Are there any LSU fans that live near Mobile, AL or Saraland, AL. I am a lone Tiger in Redneckville. Even my husband is corrupted. I was hoping to get together with some sane fans who know what a great school and football team really look like.

email me at lsu_southern_belle@yahoo.com

Thanks Lindy

My parents live in Mobile, I'm actually here right now for a few days before I go to Gainesville Mobile has an LSU Alumni Assoc. Good number of tiger fans in southwest alabama!

I live in Birmingham and know how you feel. Auburn fans are civil. Alabama fans are the biggest a__holes on the planet. They think everyone should bow down to there team because of the old fart in the stupid hat who has been dead for 30 years.

Yeah dubya, I know EXACTLY what you mean. If I see one more S-the coach sticker with a hat sticker next to it, I think I might gag! I mean the dude is a dead drunk! Get over it already! I am glad to know that I am not the only one suffering.

My wife's family lives in Mobile. 70 percent are Bama and 30 percent are Auburn. I understand your pain with some of those people. Now, that bama has been winning: They come out of the woods to boast about their team and going undefeated and etc, etc..
I've seen many LSU fans around that town- good to see them.
I'll look for you on here to find a spot where LSU watch parties are at since I'm usually there every 2-3 weeks. Whether watch the game with LSU fans than surrounded by Bama/auburn fans.
FYI,
Some Mobilians are good people, very friendly but majority of the Bama fans are arse clowns. Aubies don't bother us- more casual in conversation.
Seriously, I wear an LSU hat around that town- this Bama arse clown crosses a busy intersection to tell me I'm a corndog and I smell like it. Seriously, you ran across a busy intersection, dodging cars, missing fatal death of a 55 mph car/truck to tell me that face to face...Get a life arse clowns and tell me how my arse tastes for the last 5 years.

TheLSU....I know how you feel. I can't wear anything LSU or write a check with my LSU pen without some ignorant Bammer making some comment. Auburn fans are ALOT more civil and not nearly as obnoxious. My own father-in-law threatened to trow me out of his house if I wore an LSU shirt over there again.

I mean really?????

I am in the heart of enemy territory up here in Bham. I actually enjoy the "Hairy Eye" I get everywhere when I wear LSU. Parents clutch their kids closer, strangers give me a lot of space, you can sense the fear. It's great! Anytime I run into the occasional tigerfan I Yell "GEAUX TIGERS!" I did it once at the Bham airport and it wound up beig a TD poster!

My father-in-law told my pregnant wife he bought an Alabama baby jersey for our son. I told him, you can mail it but don't be surprise it if it's returned or lost. As for my parent-in-laws threatening me out? Nah. I talk to them about football in a respectful manner and always, always wear the LSU-Bama gameday shirts as well BCS championship shirts since their beloved team hasn't won any "balls" yet. Though, it really depends how sophicated and classy they are. Some are in Mobile (bama and/or auburn)- i've seen some trashy people over there. Reminds of ButtFNoWhere, Miss. hicks..Keep in mind, you are in the heart of dixie.

With my in-laws, I've joked back and forth about throwing them out of my house or those colors are not welcomed here but it's just joking. Not serious about that but I AM ABOUT MY SON WEARING BAMMER STUFF- not going to happen. He'll always be a Tiger now and always over my dead body.

Belle

I live near Gulf Shores - there is a great Alumni Assoc. (Panhandle Bayou Bengals) that gathers at "Shooters" in Pensacola for watch parties--they are a great group too.

I saw a Bama fan showing off his got 12 shirt to an LSU teenager a month ago in Mobile. I told the kid "Hey, Geaux Tigers!!, how about those crystal balls?" Bama fan's face turned red and just looked..Sorry Bama man, you don't have balls- crystal.
So many stories of encounters in Alabama area with the enemies as well as our fans than anywhere else i've been. I think Alabama has the 2nd most out of state LSU fans, #1 being Texas, in the country. good to see them and yell "Geaux Tigers"

I was at the hospital yesterday checking on a family member and had my P&G Polo on. The nurse on the wing is yelling ROLL TIDE at me...

My relative in the hospital goes "can you shut her up...they have a good 1/2 of a season and shes so excited"

Amen, BROTHA!

I have an 11 year old. When we moved up here, my wife tried to tell me to tone it down with the LSU stuff. My son was the one that spoke up and said the hell with that. He wears his colors every Friday to school. He is the ONLY Fightin Tigah at his school. He does put up with alot from students and surprisingly admin and teachers too. But like you said Tiger from conception to the grave!!!!
