Actually the practice was closed to the media but he was able to watch from a nearby parking deck.
Afterward he was able to speak with CUM briefly, he said:

1)Percy Harvin did not practice today.

2)According to Oliver-CUM genarally keeps things close to the vest, but today he was openly agitated and nervous about the game this weekend. Telling Chuck Oliver, "There are some areas where we need to find answers but don't have them yet."

Take it for what it's worth.

ETA: He did tape an interview with Meyer which he will play on the air tomorrow.

I'm probably in the minority here, but I like our chances better if Harvin plays. The "Tebow/Harvin" show isn't very successful ... their offense has struggled. If Harvin doesn't play, they will be forced to spread the ball around to some of the other VERY talented guys on the roster.

At least when Harvin's in there, it's not to hard to figure out where Florida's going with the ball ... key on Tebow and Harvin, and if you can Slow those two down you win, simple as that.

floridas last 3 losses were to uga, michigan, and ole miss....they scored at least 30 in all those. They lose because of their D not because of overuse of Tebow and Harvin

agree..

not having dustin doe or being thin on the DL is what's worth talking about....our OLs wear them down if we stick with it... play ball control offense with Playaction passes and we're good...we have good matchup with lafell and byrd and dickson....hayden is decent and jenkins is very fast but their safeties are weak....see ole miss long td

you underestimate our corners. Jenkins is a true fresh and will be a lock down corner soon enough. Haden is a beast. Safeties are ok as long as our line can pressure lee

The same can be said of Patrick Peterson but I would not want him locked on a WR one-on-one on Saturday. The key phrase here is "true fresh"

Who was the 4th most recent loss to? Did you score 30.

LSU's defense, for all its growing pains this year is a lot better tha Michigan and Ole Miss and probably better than UGA's 2007 squad at the time you played them.

I will give you this. If you break 30, you will probably win.

You mean the guy who changed his # so he could have a new identity and a fresh start after being abused last year.

It's true the kid changed his #.

A true freshman who was sharing a number with a back up quarterback changed his number the next year? Wow! That's never happened before! I guess he was not man enough to take #5 away from 5th year senior, Bubba Caldwell.

I guess Harvin was so embarrassed my his freshman year that he changed from 8 to 1 his soph year.

I guess at LSU, freshman get whatever number they want day one?

If Harvin is at 100%; no

If he is at 75%, then yes.

Ahmad Black is the other safty. Anderson has been battling injuries for a few years now. I think that is what is holding him back.
