My buddy and I have a little bit of a dilemma. Hopefully some of you kind souls can help out some fellow Tiger fans.
We're driving down from Jax for the game. We already have tickets. The problem is that they are not in the LSU section, but are across the stadium instead.
We're working on trying to find two in the Tigers' section, but are not sure that this will happen.
So my question is this: Will somebody PLEASE let us squeeze in with them so we will not be stuck in the middle of thousands of incredibly obnoxious Gator fans? I've been to every LSU game in Gainesville since 1990 and have always been able to sit with my fellow Tigers. Having to sit in a sea of orange and blue polyester and jean shorts is a bit of a nightmare scenario.
I know this would be more doable if some fans with a block of tickets were willing to help. That way we could sit on two different rows which would obviously take less space. We would be very willing to sit on the very edge of aisle seats and take as little room as possible. We're probably even willing to split up.
And no, we're not 300+ lb slobs. My waist size is 36 and his is 32.
Lastly, you would not be disappointed, as we will raise ever-loving hell. There is no LSU fan alive more rabid than myself when the Tigers roll into Gainesville.
In all seriousness, any help would be GREATLY, GREATLY appreciated. Thanks and
ETA: It would have to be lower bowl since we cannot access the endzone upper deck. So fans with seats in the LSU section in the endzone upper would not be able to help.

Ah come on, you don't want to sit with them?

that's the most pathetic post i've ever seen on this board. grow some balls and sit in the gator section and cheer like you normally would.

You must have been the guy crashing on my aisle at Auburn.
Pay for LSU tickets or don't go but don't make somebody else's time miserable for a seat they paid for.

Find 2 Gators in the LSU section who have as good or worse tickets than you and trade them. Doubt they'll give them up if you have absolutely awful tickets but I did this one time when Florida visited FSU in 2006 and it worked fine.

grow a set, each seat is already only 8 inches wide

Am attempting that as well. Kind of like searching for a needle in a haystack though.

Seriously. Be glad that you'll be at the game, and sitting together at that.

2005 when LSU went to Bama I bought a ticket on the street and sat in the Bama section by myself wearing purple and gold. If you really can't handle it (& you have a friend w/ you so you have a one up on me) that probably means you're one of those guys that gets in fights and acts like a total tool. Build a bridge and get over it man. You can still enjoy the game & have fun while sitting in the other teams section. Just don't be a d-bag about it.

I sat in the Bammer section last year with my wife who is a bleeding heart Bammer and a guy behind me screming "LESTER" a million times in my ear for 4 1/2 hours. There wasnt an LSU fan within 20 yds left or right of where I was sitting and I endured it. As long as you arent an a-hole most people kinda see you as a novelty. Granted you will draw "a bunch of attention" from those around you. I can assure you that it did not stop me from yelling as loud as I could and after LSU wins it sure does make it sweet to say "bye" to all those around you as they head for the exits.

I guess I don't know what I was thinking.

Yeah, this isn't an issue at all. Not a fan of fighting and know perfectly well how to not be a tool.
And believe me, there's no way I won't be there, even if in these seats. I just prefer sitting with Tiger fans, as any other Tiger fan would.

There really isn't room for two men to squeeze in. The seating is very tight. I've been to that stadium.

Maybe that is why I had no room to sit when I went to Tennessee years back.
