Seems like there are some pretty rationale thoughts on there. The guy who started the thread is another deal.
It shouldn't take a genius to figure out that they haven't started conference play. And things are going to change drastically over the next few months.

I read the thread, but even the people that are arguing in favor of the SEC are informed. One of them put Florida ahead of us in his pairing up of teams from the two conferences.
I just thought that a little bit of informed discussion could be used over there, but apparently you two are too busy talking about the same old shite on the same old forum.

Right now the Big-12 is better than the SEC.
The SEC vs. other BCS conferences right now is 5-4 the same as the PAC-10. Really you cannot make a good argument based only on the data so far that supports the SEC to being superior, but you can make that argument based on the data that the Big-12 is superior
You can believe that the SEC is superior, but to call someone a moron for not believing that when the evidence supports their assertion is just plain stupid.

You would think so, but around here apparently the Big 12 is better and if I state they haven't started conference play it goes right over their heads.

No. You can't, Who is the Big 12's best win? A shoot out against an Illinois team Penn State handled pretty well? Or was it one of the games against those juggernauts like Chattanooga, Buffalo, Nevada, maybe that 0-4 Washington team, Don't forget about Rice, and that trap @ Utep. FAU? No.
Now the next thing you're going to say is the SEC played bad teams as well. Sure we did but one week ago we had 5 in the top 10 and we were hands down the best. Now one week later we hit conference play before the Big 12 and they keep all their teams in the Top 10 while a few of ours drop out. Hmmmmmmmmm what magically changed?

how many morons have to see OU skate through the conference and then get waxed in a bowl game. As far as I am concerned, they don't get a shot at the BCS championship until they can prove they can win a bowl game.

Bowl game?? They can't even win the Big 12 Conf. Championship game most years.
