Standard fishing knot for specks and reds. Anything else, and it's just for show for specks and reds. For offshore fishing I use a full snell

No idea what its called but whatever the 7 twist, through the small hole out the big hole. My knot is incredible. I fish 12# test mono and it it damn hard to break off of snags

Full snell is a good knot. I use it in smelled hooks to troll for brookies in summer time with smelled hooks that have a point instead of an eye.

Mono - San Diego Jam knot
30lb and above Fluoro - bastardized Jam knot
Braid - palomar
Need the bait to have a little more action - Perfection Loop
Mono to braid - Uni
Mono to Fluoro - Surgeons Knot
Drop shotting senkos for bass - Berkely knot (tag run thru eyelet)

I've got no such thing as a "go to knot"

A knot that works by jamming up the line with friction...think multiple twists layering up together to form the knot.

For dry flies, popin bugs and crank baits, 100% Rapala knots. Keep it free of the wedgie!
