What is the correct name for the pest that makes mounds of dirt in your yard?
Not the ones that tunnel just under the surface for several feet.
Moles? Gophers?
I need to buy traps, kill traps.
Any recommendations?

Animal size. Dirt mounds are a foot across the base at times.
Did some research, most people call them gophers. Macabee and Victor make traps to name a couple. Dig at mound, find the hole/tunnel and set the trap in it.

Corrrect. There's a lot of talk about moles on The Lawn Forum

I've linked a thread about moles.

Put Juicy Fruit gum in tunnels. They cannot pass it and they will die. No shite.
